We are actively invested in our community. Since 1979, the United Way of Alexander County has been funding health and human services in our community. United Way campaign dollars support a network of local agencies, addressing community problems 365 days a year.

The United Way of Alexander County is a grassroots effort ro raise funds for 7 nonprofit organizations serving Alexander County residents and visitors. A single contribution to the United Way campaign supports the work of all these groups. The funds raised by the United Way campaign allows the member agencies to spend more time serving the community and less time fund raising.
